Hi my name’s Muzz (short for Murray), I’m an entertainer, musician, and singer based in Thames, New Zealand. Along with a versatile singing voice I play trumpet, harmonica and have also been involved in theatre and stage shows. My music styles range from Jazz to Rock n’ Roll and include good old-fashioned sing-alongs covering all eras from the 1930s to modern day music.
I have been active with bands for more than 30 years, starting as a vocalist and trumpet player with the Marlborough Sound Big Band which I did for 10 years and then with various bands around Wellington. I have a passion for easy listening jazz/swing music and have been labeled a crooner but I also enjoy Rock n’ Roll, Dixie and music of the 70’s 80’s and 90’s.
Over the years I have entertained at several Marlborough Wine and Food Festivals, played for the Prime Minister, Governor General and other dignitaries and more recently have performed in Samoa for a few years. I have performed for dinner/dance, weddings, birthdays, public shows, karaokes and other memorable occasions.
I provide services as an entertainer, karaoke or DJ and can ensure your event will be a memorable occasion.
